He hit and ran, and was caught and arrested

According to police, Ray Wolfrey has been arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, hit-and-run as the result of an accident, and vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.  While driving south on Route 108 near Guilford Road, Mr. Wolfrey’s GTI rear ended another car, causing it to slide off the roadway and into a telephone pole.  The driver of the Passat was pronounced dead at the scene, and the passenger, Kevin Hans, was transported to a trauma center nearby.  Although Mr. Wolfrey left the scene immediately, his car was soon located and he was arrested.
