Couple continues to party after death

Police in Warren Michigan found the body of 50 year old Sindi Lee Baker in a home after a tip from a Waterford Township substance abuse center.  Apparently, Sindi, her sister, and their male friend, Joseph Loehnis were partying and doing heroin in a local home.  The two surviving members of the party originally thought that Sindi had passed out from a heroin overdose.  By the time they realized she was dead, they panicked, and were also high on heroin, and unable to make a decision about what to do.  Warren Police Lt. Michael Torey said, “It’s a sad, bizarre and weird story.”  Criminal charges are not expected concerning the dead woman, but Loehnis was arrested with felony charges for possession of heroin and drug paraphernalia.
