93 Year Old Crashes Against Oncoming Traffic

93-year-old Evelyn Fink died in a head-on collision after driving the wrong way on a Benicia freeway. She drove her Buick Regal against oncoming traffic on Interstate 780 for at least half a mile before crashing head-on into a Honda minivan. The 20-year-old driving the minivan, a small child, and a toddler were not injured.

Oakland Biker Pronounced Dead At Scene

A  motorcycle and minivan, both traveling along Hegenberger Road, collided in Oakland Friday morning. The impact of the crash damaged a side of the Chevrolet van and the driver was not injured. 27-year-old Robert Adams tried to slam on his breaks before the impact, but ended up sliding right into the minivan. Adams ejected onto the road and was pronounced dead at the scene. His bike was totaled in the collision.

Gas Pipeline Explosion in San Francisco

A gas pipeline explosion devastated a residential neighborhood in the San Francisco bay area and killed eight people. At least 50 people have been injured. The explosion left a giant crater and dozens of destroyed homes that will take over a year to rebuild. Construction accident causes death of one

Authorities say that last Tuesday morning, an embankment caved in on a then unidentified man at a work site in Dakota Dunes, just south of Sioux Falls.  It has since been learned the man was 27 year old Gabe Koenigsfeld of Sioux Falls, who was a high school sports star, and a former South Dakota State football player.  His wife, Stephanie is pregnant with their first child.
