Beet Truck driver charged with killed 18-yr old.

Police in Wahpeton, North Dakota say that 52-year old Cathleen Dean ran a red light in her beet truck and killed an 18-yr old girl.  Ms. Dean has a criminal history, and is now facing years in jail and a fine following this latest incident.  Antoinette Gjesdal was the third car to go through the light, according to witnesses, before Ms. Dean ran the red light and hit her car, killing her.  Ms. Dean says she thought she would have enough time to go through the intersection, but she was mistaken.  Driving with a suspended license and several drug charges make up Ms. Dean’s long criminal record.  She could now face a $5000 fine and up to 5 years in prison.
